So, if you are renting a two bedroom apartment with four people and two are using one bedroom and are moving in on January 1st and the other two sharing the second bedroom will be moving in February 1st, then only half the rent will need to be paid for the months of September through December.
  • Flexible Start / End Date Lease During these uncertain times, you may need chose a start date that works best for you OR break your lease due to loss employment, immigration status, or UC Berkeley moving back to completely on-line instruction. You will be allowed to break your lease, without penalty by providing at least 60 days written notice.
